Round and round we go.

One day last week, I put Mayra to bed, went to my own room, crawled under the covers and closed my eyes, only to get called back to Mayra's room to a torrent of tears and her insisting that she doesn't like her school anymore, and she wants to stay away from there, and she doesn't like it because the teachers tell you what to do.
It was so out of character for her. I didn't know what to think. She was mad because she wanted to go the the writing table for free center, and had been told she needs to switch centers more often. (she goes to the writing table a LOT) Then she was upset because she had been all pleased with her fox costume for Halloween and one of the other children had said that someone else might also be dressing up as a fox. Last night Mayra finally figured out for herself that she's been said because she misses Miss Kaitlyn, the student teacher who has been reassigned to a different school.
We've been working with a new riding instructor, and Eunice has a nifty new cage with enough room for a companion piggie, so guess where we're going after school?
