One of the kindy teachers at school is pregnant, and she has been quite honest with the children that she has a baby in her tummy. So of course, Mayra has many, many questions about the baby, and how does it come out, etc.
This morning she wanted to know whether or not she came from my tummy. I've been expecting this, but still failed spectacularly in dealing with it. She knows she was born in Guatemala, and knows I travelled there on a plane to bring her home. She knows she's adopted, and that she has a family who loves her dearly.
It's just hard.
