Guess what Mayra learned in school...

So the second half of the aforementioned book didn't really have much helpful advice. Such is life. I don't know how much I really needed to be reading a parenting book at this stage. I had bought it quite a while back, and was cleaning out book boxes that have been languishing in the garage since we moved to the new house.
The other night I said or did something that Mayra didn't like. I forget what, I wanted a break from watching cartoons or something.
So she's trying to win her argument, and when she realized I wasn't going to cave she looks at me and says.......
"Mommy, you're stupid!"
She repeats it several times for emphasis. I have to pat myself on the back a bit, because I really didn't feel that much of a reaction to it. I know that we don't say that sort of thing at home, and it's just something she picked up from the kids at daycare.
Of course, daycare will insist she learned that at home.
