uh-oh part 2

Mayra has recently discovered the joy of tooting the car horn. I don't even know where she learned such a thing, but she asked if she could do it one day. I always say no if we're in a parking lot, but figure it's OK at Mom and Dad's house, because their only neighbor is my brother, and compared to the industrial park behind them, and the nearby airport, Mayra tooting my wimpy subaru horn is peaceful. I let her do it at home too, but only two toots.
Last week after Adventure Aquarium she fell asleep in the car, and by the time I drove around for nearly two hours while she napped, when we got to my parents' house I really needed to use the bathroom, so I asked Mom to stick her head out the door to keep an eye on Mayra. Mayra had climbed into the driver's seat, but was busy checking out the dashboard.
Mom goes out to say hello, and asked Mayra if she was driving.
Mayra said, "Mommy took the keys, so I can't drive!"
What will I do by the time she's 14 or 15, let alone old enough for a license?
