They made Princess crowns at daycare, she wouldn't put hers on until this morning.
Last night we were getting ready for dinner, and I asked her if she wanted to eat in the kitchen, or at her little table in front of the TV. She decided to eat in the kitchen so she wouldn't make a mess. Awwwww, isn't that music to a Mom's ears?
Later, at our house, she was looking at a toy catalog. (Thanks retailers for starting Christmas stuff in August. I really mean it) She kept pointing at this and that, and I told her she couldn't get everything at once, that we had to save some stuff for Santa to bring. So she decided Santa would bring the dinosaurs and Mr Mailman would bring the ponies. She talked a bit about this and that and then she announced: "I'm going to give Santa a favor." I was barely paying attention, but she said it two or three times, and when she was sure I was paying close enough attention she said: "I'm going to send him a thank you card."
What a sweet kid.
She goes on to say Santa will bring her the giant train set, and he will bring me a gift too, a tiny train set. Then Mom-Mom will get a tiny train, Doo will get a bigger train, and Pop-Pop will get a tiny train.
She has also decided she wants her birthday to start back up again tomorrow, and she wants a cake, and she will cut it up so everyone can come over and fork a piece onto a plate and eat it all up.
