poofy hair

After being told most of my life that my hair was ugly because it was straight, I prayed for a daughter with straight glossy hair.

So guess what daughter's fondest wish is? Wavy, curly hair, of course. We curled it with a curling iron the day before yesterday, not curly enough for her. Today we braided it damp, and will check out the results tomorrow.

Didn't do much today, it's very cold and windy outside.
