Hmmm. I was always so opposed to buying my daughter anything from the Bratz line, but evidently there was some legal battle so now there is a new line of toys called Moxie Girls. I have to admit, they don't look so bad.
Mayra had been pestering for a toy electronic guitar several weeks back, so I bought her this one while I was shopping for a birthday present.
I had the ultimate thrill of going to a movie of my choice this weekend. I have somewhat quirky taste in films, and other than Theater N, it's rare for a film to even show in Delaware that I want to see. Lucky me, Julie and Julia is in theaters now. What a charming film, and a perfect afternoon escape for a tired single momma.
