Mayra had a great time at the party yesterday. The birthday girl is a friend of hers that she met when she was two, they were in the same daycare room. They hadn't seen each other since Mayra's birthday in April, but it was like they never skipped a beat, you would think they play together every day. They look so much more grown up than when they first met.
They had a huge inflatable water slide set up, Mayra slid down many, many times. Last year she wouldn't go because she was too afraid.
I have parents orientation at kindergarten tomorrow evening, we get to tour the new facility, I've already heard it's pretty nice. Mayra is upset that it's for parents only and she isn't allowed to go.
I woke up with some funky eye infection this morning, but it's improving.
