Mayra loved her first week of summer camp for the year. She was in Creek Treasures at White Clay Creek State Park. Should I be embarassed that I have lived here my whole life and never really visited this park before?
The first day or so, the drove over there was a nightmare. I got lost TWICE the first day. But she loved the camp, the counsellors were excellent, and the extra dose of outdoor activity was good for the children after a winter of indoor TV watching.
Next week, we are off to Lums Pond State Park, much closer to home and work, and Mayra gets to spend the week with Miss Jenna, one of her favorite people.
