The grandmother of Mayra's friend from school has a membership at the Philadelphia Zoo, and invited Mayra and me to tag along on a zoo trip yesterday. They have a van, so I didn't have to drive, plus we were in a group of 3 adults, 3 preschool kids and a baby, instead of just the two of us. For me it was almost like having the day off, no traffic, no parking hassles, and the girls entertained themselves.
