Yuck. I was tired from working reasonably hard around the house this weekend. Mayra did a sleepover with Mom and Dad so i took advantage of the situation and spirited away some babyish toys to goodwill, worked on the new lizard habitat, made at least two or three trips to the dumpster at work, and I feel like I must have made hundreds of trips up and down the steps.
Against my better judgement I took a benadryl after dinner because my "allergies" were bothering me. Unfortunately, antihistamines tend to keep me awake, and to add insult to injury it seemed to have very little affect on my congestion.
When I finally did fall asleep, I developed a nose whistle that woke me up around 6.
I knew my morning was complete when the cat barfed on the sofa, at least it wasn't a big mess to clean up, nauseating just the same. After a brief hacking/barfing session Kitty ate her breakfast like nothing was wrong, so that's a relief.
Miss Pam had a helper at Saturday's riding lesson so Mayra got to try some new things. Since there was an extra person to help watch the horse, they disconnected the lead line, and Mayra really had to focus on using the reins correctly. They also let her ride bareback briefly, with Miss Pam walking alongside holding on to Mayra's lag, and the helper leading the horse.
