summer camp

Mayra loves animals, science and nature stuff, and her favorite summer camp last year was with Miss Jenna at Lums Pond State Park.
I managed to get her signed up for four weeks and Lums Pong and two weeks at White Clay. She will still have a couple of open weeks in case anything else fun presents itself.
I keep asking her from time to time if she wants to try karate, and she usually says no.
I asked again last week, and she says, "What is Karate."
I gave her a slightly silly response, saying you wear a white suit and go "hi-yah" a lot.
Her answer?
"That would be painful..."
