blender beast

The craft guy on Noggin zapped me for $40, now Zefronk's Tasty Treats (Playhouse Disney) has cost me not one, but two blenders..
Mayra wanted to try the strawberry banana smoothie. Believe it or not, I have made a smoothie or two before so it sounded easy enough.
We chopped enough stuff for two smoothies and put them in the big blender.
It seemed to be taking longer than I expected, and I wasn't too concerned until I saw the smoke coming from the back of the blender.
yanked the plug, located the little blender (magic bullet) and transferred the smoothie stuff to finish it off. Good plan, except the on/off switch sticks. at first it wouldn't come on, but I sort of unstuck it and finished the smoothie, only to find that now the blasted thing will not turn off, so if you want to use the contraption you have to tunr it on/off with the electric plug at the wall.
