For Mayra's first Christmas (8 months old) we put her on Santa's lap, and she didn't smile for the camera, but they got a pic and I got her off Santa's lap before she started to cry. After that, she wouldnt' visit with Santa the next two years.
This year, we talked about her sitting on Santa's lap and telling him what she wanted for Christmas, but when we went to the mall Tuesday after work, she was will to say hello, but not sit on his lap. She would only do it if I sat on his lap too, and THAT wasn't going to happen.
So no picture, but we had an OK evening anyway. It was pet picture day, there were more people in line bringing their dogs to see Santa than kids.
