We went to a craft show at the Chase Center. It was actually a decent craft show from my perspective, a variety of vendors but not crushing crowds. I'm not sure what it was like for the vendors, it looked like a lot were sitting watching non-customers walk by, but I digress.
One Ceramics lady had her booth filled with all manner of ceramic critters, think Noah's Ark. Really cute whimsical stuff. Somehow Mayra spotted about 5 giraffes on a top shelf, this kid misses nothing. It took some persuasion to convince her to leave with just one giraffe, she would have preferred to get all of them so they could be a family. This was Friday, and all day yesterday she kept saying we would go back today to get another giraffe. We were supposed to go fishing, so my original plan was to wait until the

Fishing got rained out, I was looking for an indoor activity. The thought of Chuck E Cheese or the Mall made me want to vomit, and Natural History Museum doesn't open until noon on Sundays, too close to nap time, so eventually I decided we could get the giraffe today.
We get back and finally locate the ceramics lady, but I nearly fainted, at first it looked like she didn't have any giraffes, but she did have two, and there was no way to convince Mayra to leave one there alone, so now she has her family.
She actually wanted me to take some pictures of the giraffes, but wasn't too wild about being in the pictures.

The little elephant is by a local woodcarver.
